Community members with an interest in improving quality of life, pursuing sustainability in Oxford are encouraged to apply.
The Future Oxford Partnership is looking for some new, diverse voices across its membership to help advance sustainability efforts in Oxford County.
Volunteer member positions on the Future Oxford Partnership provide input into the strategy for acting on the 70 actions outlined in the Future Oxford Community Sustainability Plan, as well as guidance and support to the community and business partners working to achieve the targets.
Future Oxford Partnership members are required to attend approximately one evening per month and take part in occasional activities, presentations and other events throughout the year to help advance the community’s awareness of Future Oxford.
Residents with knowledge or experience in the following areas should consider applying:
- Social issues
- Health and wellness
- Environmental issues
- Seniors’ issues
- Youth issues
- Business and finance
- Rural issues
- Urban development
- Other quality of life areas that help shape a secure future
Applications for membership on the Future Oxford Partnership are being accepted now (previous deadline extended). Membership recruitment is being administered by Oxford County.

The Plan aims to achieve this through 70 distinct actions that balance the needs of the community, economy and environment.
