Municipal elections are being held in Ontario on October 22, 2018, with some communities offering online, telephone and mail-in voting now. Municipal elections allow residents who are 18 years of age and older to vote for what matters to them.

This month, Future Oxford is hosting all-candidates forums for secondary school students in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg to allow youth to hear first-hand from municipal and school board candidates. The forums were intended to promote democratic engagement among youth as part of our path towards building a more sustainable future.
